Jonathan Macri tested at Phoenix International Raceway, and for the
first time with a CART Toyota Atlantic Car on an Oval - 2nd time on an
oval for Jonathan's racing career.
He completed close to 200 miles by days
end, with a very conventional oval car set-up. Jonathan was able to turn
consistent times of 24.90.
Other drivers
present at the testing the same day were David Rutledge, Tony Ave and
Stephan Roy. Jonathan Macri was the second quickest only 2/10ths
off David Rutledge's best time. Even in Phoenix ,weather conditions were
a factor to the cars. It was cloudy, chilly and windy all day. |
