New Team-Mates

Macri Racing and Battlefield Equipment Rentals have announced a marketing partnership for this season’s CART Toyota Atlantic Championship. Canadian operated Battlefield provides the rental and sale of high quality late model construction, industrial equipment, and tools to contractors. Using such excellent equipment suppliers as Caterpillar, it is no question that their product lines ensure total quality value. With a majority of their operations within the Greater Toronto Area, Battlefield also has a total of 33 locations throughout Ontario, Manitoba, and Newfoundland.

Battlefield is also proud to have an excellent role model as Jonathan to align their products with. Battlefield joins the team of partners with NTN Bearing Corporation, Miller Genuine Draft, Con-Lawn Construction & Landscape, Cobra Power Inc., Baldhead Systems Inc., and Mopal Construction Limited.
On the technical aspect, driver coach Kenny Wilden will be on board for this year’s season as well. Kenny was working with Jonathan at the last few races in 2001 and has developed certain chemistry with Jonathan. Kenny Wilden is actually a Toyota Atlantic veteran, and multi-race winner complimenting his widespread racing achievements. Kenny is well respected among the racing world and will be a strong addition to this year’s championship charge.

After claiming the 2001 CART Toyota Atlantic BBS Rising Star Award, and runner up for Rookie of the Year, Gormley based Jonathan Macri is looking for a championship season. With these new additions to their already strong team, Jonathan feels they have the necessary resources to make a strong bid to this years CART Toyota Atlantic Championship.
