(Gormley, Ontario) August 18, 2003 With only three Atlantic races left in the 2003 season, Jonathan Macri is seeking a victory on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, a track where Macri feels very comfortable going fast. We are really looking forward to running in Montreal, said an enthused Macri. The team has always prepared a great car for this track. We are still running in the back-up car, since my on-track incident in Trois Rivieres, but the car is handling really well, so I am confident. Macri is currently in third place with 114 points in the race for the Toyota Atlantic Championship title. This weekend will begin with a 30 minute practice session Friday morning, August 22, followed by a provisional qualifying session at 1:30 p.m. EST. Saturday begins with the final qualifying session at 8:45 a.m. EST followed by the race in the afternoon. Round ten of the Toyota Atlantic Championship race is scheduled to begin at 3:15 p.m. EST. The Speed channel will broadcast the race at 4:00 p.m. EST on Saturday (Check your local listings). B-roll of Macri on track is available for television use.
